Linee di ricerca Nuclear matter under extreme conditions and high energy astrophysics
 The research activity is based on the study of the relativistic nuclear equation of state in the framework of quantum hadrodynamic models at finite temperature and high baryon density. The primary goals are: 
 study the hadron and quark-gluon plasma phase transition in compressed baryonic matter regime, reachable in relativistic heavy-ion collision experiments; 
 study the bulk properties of the neutron stars and phase transitions into the core of the compact stars;
 study the merger of compact stars and the phenomenological implications related to the gravitational wave signals and the detection of gamma ray bursts
