Biography

I have received my Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering at Politecnico di Torino in 2020 and a Master's degree in the same discipline in 2022 from the same university. In the academic year 2021-2022 I had the opportunity to spend 10 months at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland), during which I have carried out my Master's thesis. The thesis work dealt with the development of lab-in-fiber devices for rapid chemical testing via thermal drawing, providing me with experience in the field of biosensing and process optimization. I also expanded my experience in sensing technologies with a six months internship in Sensirion (Staefa, Swtizerland)
In 2023 I have started my PhD path in Politecnico di Torino at the Materials and Microsystem Laboratory in Chivasso (Torino), Italy. My research project is based on the developement of microfluidic chips and alternative sensing solution to be used for organ-on-chip platforms.
