Seminar “Discover Vitrimers through BIOMAPS project”

DiSAT is glad to invite you to join the first webinar of the European BIOMAPS project, titled “Discover Vitrimers through the BIOMAPS Project” which will be held online on Thursday, May 21.

This event offers an excellent opportunity to explore the topic of vitrimers, an innovative class of polymeric materials that combine the mechanical and chemical resistance of thermosets with the processability and recyclability of thermoplastics. In particular, the project focuses on vitrimers derived from PHAs—biodegradable thermoplastic polyesters synthesized by bacteria—which are used as eco-sustainable bioplastics. We invite you to explore their characteristics and potential applications, along with other topics such as sustainability through materials and the biodegradation of polymers.
