Models and methods in statistical (bio)physics: equilibrium and out of equilibrium


Our research activity is focused on statistical physics and some of its interdisciplinary applications. We are interested in models for conformational transitions of biopolymers (especially proteins and RNAs) and in models inspired by biological traffic problems (especially simple exclusion processes). We are also interested in developing approximate semi-analytical approaches for instances of these models which are not exactly solvable.
