Institute of fundamental Physics and Materials for Nanotechnology

The Institute of Fundamental Physics and Materials for Nanotechnology aims to study and develop several experimental and theoretical aspects dealing with Physics of Fundamental Interactions, Physics of Condensed Matter and Materials Science linked to Nanotechnology. The research activities within the Institute are focused on High-Energy Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics, Theory of Gravitation, Synthesis and Characterization of Functional Materials, Design and Fabrication of Micro- and Nano-devices applied to several fields including Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, Photonics, Magnetism, Energy and Life Sciences.
