Gruppo Theory and simulation of complex quantum matter
Specific mission
The Theory and Simulation of Complex Quantum Matter group focuses on the design and characterization of quantum states of matter emerging from strong correlations and entanglement. We place particular emphasis on quantum simulators based on ultracold atoms and molecules, which provide a versatile platform to explore and control complex quantum phases. Our research combines advanced analytical approaches rooted in field theory with modern computational techniques, including tensor networks, quantum Monte Carlo, and density functional theory.
